Photographic Art by Bill Caldwell
Looking east from the shores of Lake Powell on a cold morning in January, the sun rises over the Navajo Nation in this dramatic southwest panorama. After years of drought, the waters of Lake Powell have receded, exposing these incredible rock formations. One of the definitions of the word sacred is "worthy of or regarded with reverence, awe, or respect." In this sense I consider this place and places like this as sacred ground. Beautifully uplifting contre-jour landscape created with digitally manipulated artistic photography. Fine art prints available in sizes as large as 96 x 38 inches.
